Writing meets Fashion
Our latest fashion project! Shot on @DZOFILM catta zooms and the new 16mm vespid prime. This was a great opportunity to try out the lenses and use them in a work environment. We love to hear what you think and stay tuned for the in-depth behind the scenes.
Behind the Scenes
Take a look behind the curtain
We wanted to shoot at sun set, more specifically at the blue hour. We wanted to use the blue light and setting sun to create a dark and moody vibe. Moody we got as it started raining a few kilometers away of us. The dark clouds blocked our light and instead of 2 hours of light we had 1 hour. It was quite inconvenient because total darkness was not something we had prepared for. However we soldiered on and shot the car scene in total darkness. Story wise this wasn’t great as the original idea was that the car scene happend before the scene in the forest. But we lit the car using Nanlite pavotubes and the forza 60d for his face and the scene worked out very nice so we kept in in the film.
GEAR
This is how we do it. Compact. Powerful and effective
This wouldn’t be a White Raven video if we didn’t talk about gear in specific. So let’s go over my kit real quick and why I chose these specific tools.
