Southern Renegade
Working on a editorial project with both video and photo. Shooting B&W on the Hasseblad 907x and (vintage) color on the RED KOMODO. The combination of both digital and analogue is so exciting. Shooting 35mm film, polaroid film and 50mp digital Hasselblad medium format photo’s in one project gives such a good mix of creative output. Perfect for magazines that love creative publications.
Behind the Scenes
Take a look behind the curtain
Hilde (the model) and I are good friends. We've done multiple shoots over the years and enjoy working together. With my purchase of the Hasselblad 907x Medium format camera I needed some good projects to test the camera and get familiair with the system before taking it on bigger jobs.
I wanted to get Hilde published in a magazine at least one time. She's such a great spirit and deserves to be in a magazine. Also we're both fan of analogue photography so we mixed that in with the shoot as well. Check out our B&W editorial and our mix of Polaroids and 35mm shots.
GEAR
This is how we do it. Compact. Powerful and effective
This wouldn’t be a White Raven video if we didn’t talk about gear in specific. So let’s go over my kit real quick and why I chose these specific tools:
RED Komodo //
DZOfilm Pictor Zoom 14-30mm t2.8 PL //
Vespid 16mm //
Tilta Mirage // Polaroid I-type // Praktica BCA // Kodak gold 35mm film // GoPro hero 7 //
Shinobi SDI //
DJI pocket II
